Skuld, a world leading marine insurer, today announced its membership of the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN).
Skuld’s membership acknowledges the importance of contributing to the elimination of corruption and the belief that the collective action of the MACN network will have a positive impact for the maritime industry. The network has more than 180 member companies who own or operate commercial vessels or are part of the maritime value chain.
Hilde Søbstad Løvskar, Skuld’s chief legal officer, said: “We are pleased to announce that Skuld has joined the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network. We will continue to support our members and the global shipping industry in the important work towards integrity and fair trade and look forward to being part of this active network fighting corruption.”
The membership of MACN further demonstrates Skuld’s commitment to the UN SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.
