Acrisure, a global fintech and UK insurance distribution leader, today announced the appointment of Andy Tedstone as Chief Executive Officer of its UK Retail business operations, effective in April 2027.

Tedstone joins Acrisure with a career built on growing retail insurance businesses in the UK broking market over the last 30 years. As CEO of UK Retail, he will be responsible for driving the next phase of the business’s development, combining strong local leadership and specialist market expertise with Acrisure’s global scale, capabilities and access.  He will focus on sustainable growth, deepening client relationships, and advancing the company’s commitment to helping colleagues provide better outcomes for individuals and businesses across the UK.

Tedstone is currently CEO of Cobra Network, part of PIB Group, a role he has held since July 2019. Prior to that, he was PIB Group’s Broking & Placement Director and has held senior leadership positions at Arthur J. Gallagher and Jelf Group. He serves on BIBA’s main board and chairs its Networks & MGA Advisory Board. He is also a board member of Insurance United Against Dementia, a fundraising and awareness raising campaign led by the Alzheimer’s Society and leaders from across the insurance sector.

“Andy is a highly respected leader with deep experience of the UK insurance market and a strong track record of building successful businesses,” said Jason Howard, President, International Insurance Solutions and Global Markets, Acrisure. “As we continue to invest in our retail proposition and expand our presence across the UK, Andy’s leadership, market expertise and focus on client outcomes will be invaluable. We are delighted that he has chosen to join Acrisure and look forward to welcoming him to the team next year.”

Tedstone added: “I’m delighted to be joining Acrisure at such an exciting time in its journey. Acrisure has built an impressive business with a clear ambition for growth, and I see a tremendous opportunity to build on those foundations in the UK.

Having spent my career in insurance broking, I know that sustainable success comes from great people, strong relationships and a relentless focus on clients. My priority will be to support our teams, strengthen our market position and deliver our ambitions by combining the expertise and entrepreneurial spirit of the UK market with the scale, capability and global reach of Acrisure.

I’m incredibly excited about what we can achieve together and look forward to working with colleagues, clients and market partners to shape the next chapter of Acrisure’s UK business.”

Acrisure’s UK Retail business forms an important part of the company’s international growth strategy, providing insurance and financial services solutions to individuals and businesses via our local specialists and advisers across the UK. Tedstone’s appointment reflects Acrisure’s continued investment in its UK talent and its ambition to build a locally led, globally enabled retail insurance business. Having led the business as Interim CEO during a period of transition, Andrew Boyce will return to his role as Executive Vice President, Acrisure International, where he will continue to support the company’s international growth strategy.
