Blenheim Syndicate 5886 is enhancing its direct property offering with the recruitment of Simon Anthony to write direct & facultative (D&F) business. Anthony will start in 2020, working alongside Simon King, head of D&F property, and Nick Adams, property underwriter.
Anthony brings more than 15 years of industry experience and expertise and joins Blenheim from WRB Underwriting where he has held the role of head of property since 2015, having joined as a property underwriter in 2012. Anthony began his career in 2004 as a property underwriter at MSF Pritchard.

Blenheim Syndicate 5886 is managed by Asta and was granted approval by Lloyd’s to commence underwriting from 1 January 2017 with an initial underwriting capacity of £150million. For 2020 the syndicate has secured a 16% increase in underwriting capacity from £215m to £250m, writing property treaty, direct property, specialty reinsurance, contingency and A&H classes.
