We are looking for a part time HR manager (3 days a week)

Our benefits package includes a competitive salary, pension, full time equivalent (FTE) 25 days holiday (rising by one day a year to 30) plus pro rata bank holidays, private health care contribution, performance-related bonus.

The role includes the following responsibilities:

  • Support current and future business needs through team development, engagement, motivation and retention
  • Manage the recruitment, selection and on-boarding process at all levels
  • Develop, implement and monitor HR strategies, systems and procedures across the organisation
  • Payroll and salary reporting including bonuses and commissions using QuickBooks
  • Pension administration and monthly payments
  • Administration of Death in Service scheme, life cover, key man cover etc
  • Primary contact with pensions’ broker
  • Timesheet analysis and reporting
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Nurture a positive working environment and the company culture as a whole
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system
  • Maintain benefits programme
  • Assess training needs and monitor training programmes
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management and liaison with external consultants
  • Other ad hoc support to the team
  • Senior member of the CSR committee to support and participate in internal and external events and fund-raising opportunities

Your experience

To be considered for this position you must have the following skills and experience:

  • A minimum of five years’ experience in a senior HR role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to listen, communicate effectively with a high level of social awareness and a sense of empathy
  • Conflict resolution
  • Understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality
  • Team building
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office365 and SharePoint
