Globe Underwriting, the UK based managing general agent, today announced the appointment of David Dymond as the Head of Marine and Transport following the retirement of Peter Rogers. Dymond will take up the role with immediate effect. Rogers will remain with Globe until January 2020 to facilitate the transition.
Dymond brings more than 34 years of industry experience to the role. For the last three years he held the role of Head of Underwriting for Marine and Transport at Globe, working alongside Rogers. Prior to joining Globe, Dymond worked as Regional Underwriting Manager at Tokio Marine Kiln. He has previously held roles with Lonham Group Ltf, Allianz and International Transport and Maritime Underwriters.
