WTW, (NASDAQ: WTW), a leading global advisory, broking, and solutions company has appointed three new significant hires to its international casualty team, based in the London office (part of the direct and facultative global line of business).

Sam Barnes joins WTW as a director, having held several broking roles at JLT and Marsh. With over a decade of industry experience, Sam will focus on large and complex risks and new business development reporting into Ed Hunter, head of international casualty at WTW.

WTW also welcomes Camilla Chiatti, who will focus on Latin American and European regions. Joining from Beazley, Camilla is skilled in technical underwriting, with broad Western European experience and will report into Ed Hunter.

Commenting on the two new hires, Ed Hunter, said “I’m delighted that Sam and Camilla are joining the team. Their combined wealth of experience will be a real asset and will certainly help shape our transformation and growth ambitions.”

In addition, Parry Herbert returns to the team as an associate director, after more than 15 years and having spent much of that time at Aon. With more than twenty years of broking experience, Parry will focus on the Canadian region. Parry will report into Thomas Wright, joint head of international casualty at WTW.

Thomas Wright said “Parry’s experience in placing complex risks, as well as her stellar market profile will strengthen our team even further. We’re excited to have her on board”.

Sam Barnes, Camilla Chiatti and Parry Herbert all joined WTW in early July.
